Smart snacks

In between meals & need a little snack? Here are just a few ideas from Self magazine, in good portion sizes, to keep you going until your next meal. And they're all under 200 calories!


Salty?


Handful of olives

1 cup unshelled edamame

1 Subway turkey breast wrap

1/4 cup hummus with carrot sticks



Sweet?

1/2 banana rolled in 1 tbsp frozen semisweet (or carob, my fave!) chocolate chips

100-calorie Balance Bar

Dish of fresh raspberries/blueberries/strawberries/blackberries

Fage Greek Yogurt with natural honey and/or fruit
